The ECO-Guard Catch Basin Oil Absorb Pillow, effectively removes oil contaminants from the catch basin prior to the water flowing into the storm drains. This scientifically designed pillow absorbs oil, protecting waterways and the environment. Keep your drains clean and prevent pollution with this durable and efficient solution.

These Pillows float on top of any water collected in the catch basin, and by doing that it absorbs all the oil as it separates from the water. This is ideal for the general surface run off on our streets, to catch all oil contaminants that are left by driving vehicles and rinsed by the rain into the storm drain system.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove catch basin grate
2. Tie leash string or cable to the Pillow strap and then tie it to the catch basin grate, roughly in the center. Be sure not to make the leash to long so the Pillow doesn't float down the larger storm drainage pipes.
3. Drop the Pillow into the catch basin and install the grate back in its place
4. The Pillow will float on top of any water that the catch basin accumulates

Maintenance Frequency & Disposal

• The Pillow will retain approximately .5 Quarts of Oil
• Recommended maintenance would be 3 - 6 months, depending on car traffic on the given road.....more car traffic = more oil contamination in the storm drains.
• The Pillow should be disposed of in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws
• The user is solely responsible for inspection, maintenance and proper disposal of the Pillow. The manufacturer and seller assume no responsibility for the use, maintenance of disposal.
